Sales Manager
Conrad Electronic Hungary is seeking a dynamic leader to take the helm of our sales team in Hungary. If you can balance people management with active sales support for key accounts, and your experience allows you to effectively hit targets in the Hungarian technical industry - this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Team & Performance Management
Operational Leadership: Managing a sales team of several people, monitoring their daily activities, and motivating them to achieve targets.
KPIs & Goal Achievement: Ongoing tracking of sales results, monitoring plan fulfillment, and responding swiftly (corrective actions) to any deviations. Performance reporting.
Processes & Tools: Identifying bottlenecks and proposing process improvements.
Employee Development: Providing feedback, conducting joint client visits, and ensuring continuous improvement of the team's sales competencies through workshops and mentoring.
Client Database: Preparing guidelines for employees regarding database management and active acquisition of new contracts.
Suppliers: Building and strengthening strategic relationships with key suppliers and partners within the Hungarian distribution market
Active Sales & Market Support
Key Accounts: Development of growth strategy and strong relationship of the company’s most important customers in Hungary.
Strategic Planning: Co-creating annual sales forecasts.
Market Monitoring: Observing competitor activities in the Hungarian market and reporting trends to the Regional Sales Director.
Regional Collaboration: Participating in cyclical CEE sales meetings and exchanging best practices with other regional teams.
Our Requirements
Sales Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in B2B sales (ideally in technical sectors, manufacturing, automation, industrial components and MRO).
Leadership Foundation: Experience in team management (or a Senior/Mentor background ready to step into a leadership role).
Practical Knowledge: Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiations, and sales funnel management.
Languages: Native Hungarian and fluent English for reporting and regional meetings, presentations
Tools: Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
Driving Licence
Nice to Have
Knowledge of the specifics of the Hungarian industrial market.
Basic knowledge of SAP
Soft Skills
Proactivity and the ability to inspire the team with "can-do" energy.
